Friends of Mallacoota is a community-led organization dedicated to preserving the unique biodiversity and natural beauty of Mallacoota and nearby Gabo Island. From safeguarding native bird populations and maintaining pristine habitats to engaging the community in environmental education and advocacy, our mission is to foster a sustainable future for these precious landscapes.
With a team of passionate locals and nature enthusiasts, we run hands-on programs like bushcare and weeding, town clean-ups, and a local native plant nursery.
